• Trip Data: Information you enter about your gig work trips, including earnings, tips, timestamps, mileage, and pickup/dropoff locations.
• Location Data: GPS data to track mileage during active trips. Location tracking only occurs when you actively start a trip and stops when the trip is completed.
• Device Information: Basic device information for app functionality and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the ShiftControl service
• Track and calculate your trip earnings, mileage, and statistics
• Sync your data across devices
• Improve our app and develop new features

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your individual data with gig companies or advertisers.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you personally) to improve restaurant/store information and app features for all users.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Location Data

ShiftControl uses GPS to track mileage during trips. Location tracking is only active when you explicitly start a trip and automatically stops when the trip ends. You can disable location permissions at any time through your device settings, though this will limit mileage tracking functionality.

Children's Privacy

ShiftControl is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
