➕ Adding a Trip

Quick Add (Recommended)

Click the green "Add Trip" button (bottom right) and fill in the form:

Required Fields:

  • Date & Time: When you accepted the order
  • Service: Uber X, UberEats, DoorDash, etc.
  • Accept Time: When you accepted
  • Pickup Time: When you picked up
  • Drop-off Time: When you delivered
  • Pickup Miles: Miles to restaurant/pickup
  • Drop-off Miles: Miles to customer
  • Fare: Base pay from the app

Optional Fields:

  • Restaurant: Start typing to search or enter new
  • App Tip: Tip shown in app
  • Cash Tip: Cash received from customer
  • Number of Offers: How many times you received this order

For Stacked Orders:

  • • Fill in the second restaurant/pickup/dropoff fields
  • • The app automatically calculates combined earnings

  • • The app auto-calculates total earnings, rates, and miles
  • • Times are displayed in your timezone (set in Settings)

📊 Understanding Your Dashboard

Trips View (Default)

Filter by Period:

Day Week Month

Trip Cards Color Coding:

Green = Exceeds both hourly AND per-mile goals
Yellow = Exceeds one goal
Red = Below both goals

Trip Stats (Top):

  • Total Earnings: All money made
  • Active Time: Time from accept to final dropoff
  • Total Time: Time from first accept to last dropoff (includes gaps)
  • Active Rate: Earnings ÷ Active Time
  • Total Rate: Earnings ÷ Total Time

Insights View

Daily Breakdown

  • • Earnings by service for each day
  • • Visual bar charts
  • • Click any day for trip details

Service Performance

  • • Compare services side-by-side
  • • Average rates, times, and miles
  • • Identify profitable services

Top Restaurants

  • • Most frequent pickup locations

⚙️ Settings

Income Goals

Update your target hourly rate and per-mile rate. Changes apply to future trip color coding.

Timezone

Set your local timezone. Affects all date/time displays. Important for accurate daily/weekly stats.

Work Week

Choose when your work week starts (Sunday or Monday). Affects weekly reports.

Shift End Hour

When your "day" ends (default: 6 AM). Example: Trips from 8 PM Monday to 2 AM Tuesday count as Monday.

Enabled Services

Choose which services to show in filters. Hides services you don't use.

Dark Mode

Toggle between light and dark themes. Automatically saves your preference.

Export Data

Export JSON: Complete backup of all data
Export CSV: Spreadsheet-friendly trip data

Efficient Data Entry

  • Use Restaurant Autocomplete: Type 2-3 letters, select from list or press Enter for new
  • Auto-Calculate Totals: Just enter fare + tips, app calculates earnings
  • Edit Trips: Click trip card → Edit button → Update and save
  • Delete Trips: Edit trip → Delete button → Confirm (cannot be undone)

Reading Your Stats

  • Active vs Total Time: Active = actual working time, Total = includes breaks
  • Per-Mile Earnings: Includes ALL miles (pickup + dropoff), compare to gas costs
  • Service Colors: Each service has unique color in charts for easy pattern spotting

  • • Log trips right away - don't wait!
  • • Check your goals weekly and adjust
  • • Export data monthly for backups
  • • Compare services to focus on profits
  • • Track restaurants to learn hot spots

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my data?

Your data is private and secure. Only you can see your trips. Admins cannot see individual trip details without your permission.

Can I use this on mobile?

Yes! The app works in your mobile browser. Add it to your home screen for quick access.

How do I add a new restaurant?

Just type the name in the restaurant field and press Enter. It will be added to the database.

Why are my times showing wrong?

Check your timezone in Settings. Make sure it matches your location.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, in Settings → Data Management → Danger Zone. Warning: This permanently deletes all data!

How often should I export my data?

We recommend monthly exports as a backup. Use JSON for complete backup, CSV for spreadsheets.

What if I make a mistake entering a trip?

Click the trip card, click Edit, fix the mistake, and save. Easy!

What's the difference between Active and Total rate?

Active rate = earnings ÷ time actually working. Total rate = earnings ÷ total time including breaks.

How do I know if a trip was good?

Check the color: 🟢 Green = Great (meets both goals), 🟡 Yellow = Okay (meets one goal), 🔴 Red = Poor (below both goals)
